Check your Google Page Rank(PR) and Alexa Rank
This is a handy tool for checking the Page Rank (PR) and Alexa Rank of your site. While many factors determine whether how high your site appears in the search engine ranking these are two things you can use to compare yourself to your competitors as a general guide to popularity.
Page Rank (PR) is often used to determine how 'important' Google considers a site to be. The higher the PR the more important the site is. Sites with lots of useful content (eg Wikipedia.org) tend to score well on this ranking method.
Alexa Rank is used to show a 'traffic ranking' for a site. The lower the ranking number the MORE traffic a site receives - Rank 1 being the site that receives the most traffic on the internet. Anything under 10,000 is considered extremely popular. If your site is in the top (100,000) then you will receive more detailed traffic information.
Note: If your site is very new it may not have any ranking yet but not worry - Google and Alexa will calculate this automatically when you start getting links and traffic to your site.
